Is there a way to contact eBay to notify them that the buyer wants us to delay shipment by 5 days? All I can find is this forum. The buyer's request is in the eBay Messages system, and we don't want our seller reputation to be affected. Thank you for any info.

You will get a defect for late shipping.

You will receive a defect for late shipping. If you have not done this in the past, one defect won't hurt you. However, you might consider cancelling the transaction for Problem with buyer's address, and letting the buyer know you will relist the item and send them the new item number and they can repurchase and repay when they want the item shipped.
