Is there a way to contact a buyer?
I've discovered my father's slides from the 1950s through likely 2000s have been sold in an estate auction accidentally. Most of them are of my mother who passed away in 1985 at the age of 46 and me and my two siblings. We've expected to inherit them but now they've been accidentally sold and we are heartbroken. We were able to buy back a lot of them that had not been sold yet, but believe there are still 16 metal boxes out there that were likely already sold. I found the listings for 6 of those that were sold, but I don't see a way to contact the buyers so I can offer to buy them. Does anyone know if it is possible to contact a buyer of an item not sold by myself? Thank you!

·3 years agoHi @jeanierenae this isn't possible generally as you would need to reach out to the seller, the seller reaches out to the buyer and then at that point it's up to the buyer on what they choose as far as reaching out to you. It's a very complex situation and it's the best advice I can give. I do wish you the best of luck

OP3 years agoThank you. I've tried that. Seller wasn't comfortable reaching out. You are right; it is complex. I appreciate your response.
