Is their no such thing as seller protection here in eBay anymore ?
Summary: littleembers is questioning the existence of seller protection on eBay, expressing concern over its current state and seeking clarification.
A customer has made false accusations against me and attempted to extort money. Upon returning the item, it was found to be damaged and unsellable. I am perplexed as to why eBay is siding with the buyer instead of protecting me as the seller. The items I offer are legitimate, and I believe I deserve fair treatment in this situation. I am personally acquainted with the artist who created this artwork and provide him with a percentage of the proceeds from the sale. This customer slandered my products and said they were fake then he said that if I don’t give him $500 dollars back he will leave a negative feedback, then he put an offer up for another piece of artwork, which I declined, then he eventually returned the item and it came back damaged. Also when he had ordered the item it was Immediately sent I have receipt of it sent to the post office. Now eBay is siding with the customer and giving them a full refund. How can this be fixed?
