Is printed labels considered as item shipped?
So many times purchasing an item and a seller gets a printed label with a tracking number, but UPS or the delivery system that they choose, says they have not received the package yet. EBay marks the item as being shipped and on the way?
I think that is false because I've had to wait almost a week after labels been printed before post office/carriers received the package.
I understand a lot of sellers do Drop Shipping, but when they say they have stock/store in the USA.
I believe it be better eBay makes all the sellers clarify where the product actually is stored and what State so buyers will know a rough estimate of how long it would take to get the package in real time.

There are many buyers who do not like items being marked as shipped as soon as a label w/ tracking s created. However, the vast majority of sellers do ship within a day of a label's creation or within their handling time which you can often find by clicking on the underlined See Details button on the Shipping: Cost/Service line.

Most of the eBay sellers who advertise being U.S. sellers are actually China based ones. If the item location on a listing does not give a city and state location, that's a clue the seller is either a drop shipper and/or China based.
You may receive a tracking number quickly, but if the item is coming from another country it is given the Domestic shippers tracking, but it will not update until the package arrives in the U.S. passes through customs and is handed off to the domestic shipping agency.
These days because of the tariff issues the U.S. located china owned warehouses are shot on stock so items may end up being directly shipped from china.
The link below can help you identify China based sellers (who at all drop shippers) by the way listings are set up, and from their feedback profiles. Never go by a seller's feedback percentage alone!! Always check a seller's feedback profile before buying from one. You might find that a seller with a fair number of feedback and a 100% rating has not sold anything before or in a long time, and they run into problems with their first sales because they do not know about ebay's payment hold for new or returning sellers.
