Is Price Gouging on a banned book allowed? Ebay won't remove it. Any Suggestions?
Your Time and Input will be greatly appreciated since I thought Price Gouging was reason for ebay to remove an item.
There was a recent killing in Utah. You can google Kouri Richins to read details. She allegedly poisoned her husband. He (Eric) is dead. She wrote this book featuring her real kids and pics.
Eric's family successfully had the book removed completely from amazon and all other websites using the court system.
This seller paid no more than $18.00 for the book.
Is Seller Allowed to Price Gouge for this much money?
I tried to report it to ebay with no luck.

Mentor3 years agoPrice gouging is a term used to increase prices for items necessary in a disaster. That term is not appropriate here. Sellers can ask for whatever price they want. That doesn't mean they will get it.

OP3 years ago*UPDATE* Ebay removed that auction after I complained and also contacted the family spokesman who is an attorney to request help for removal. HORRAY! Thank you ebay for not allowing people to take advantage/profit from tragedy!
