Is not as described acceptable now?
Seller listed item and description dies not match at all..
ebay seems to have taken down any opportunity to challenge the purchase.
has anyone else had an issue with this? eBay no longer doing their job

Mentor2 years agoHi @vavavoom46
The only thing that's changed is the route to obtain a refund. Instead of going to the Resolution Center ... we now go to our Purchase History to open a dispute.
It is fairly straightforward to file an 'item not received' dispute.
In order to file an 'Item not as described' dispute ... we open a 'Return request' and choose 'Doesn't match description or photos' as the reason for requesting the return. If the seller doesn't provide either a prepaid shipping label OR a full refund within 3 business days ... then we go back to the open return request and ask eBay to step in. eBay will do the rest.

Mentor2 years agoGo to My ebay > Purchase History and select RETURN THIS ITEM. You have up to 30 days from receipt of the item. For the reason, select Not as Described. You will need to click on More actions. The seller will have 3 days to reply. If no reply, then click the link to Ask ebay to step in. If the seller accepts the return, he is responsible for supplying a prepaid shipping label. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and make sure the carrier scans the label. Once tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, he has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
