Is it standard practice for Ebay to remove listing and not let you relist when you switch from a personal to a business account?
Ebay restricted my account and removed the majority of my listing. I can see the removed listing in the unsold area. If I try to relist any of them, I get a message that they don't exist. I contacted customer service but no one has helped me resolve this problem. They pretty much say there is nothing that can be done except start over with a new account or list everything over as new listings. Really?!?

Unfortunately if they won't relist then you'll have to create the listings over again.
It sounds like your listing limits were reset is my guess.
What does this page say about your selling limits>

OP3 weeks agoI think that link is the wrong one and yes my listing limits were reset.

Mentor3 weeks ago@q-berto You can try contacting customer service again and ask why your limits were reset just because you changed from personal to business account.
You will need a checking account with the same registered business name and address.

Click contact us at the bottom of the page.
Next Type Restricted Account in the chat box on the lower right.
After the chat bot replies Type AGENT so you that you can request a call back or chat with a live agent.

OP2 weeks agoEbay is no help. Apparently there is a bug in my account preventing me from relisting any removed listings. When I contacted support they said they would transfer me to a specialist and then the call was disconnected and the site would not let me reconnect. The chat feature said there was no support available.

You can try social media before you do that.
