Good Morning! Is it normal for ebay to put a hold on a much higher amount than an item has cost me? I bought an item for $9.99 and I have a hold on my credit card this Morning for $41.79 ?

Go to your purchase history to see the total with shipping and sales tax. The hold on your card should be the total transaction amount.

Yes shipping was free and it definitely don't match up ðŸ˜ž

Did you click 'see order details'? That is where you would see the total. Did you buy more than 1 of the item?
