Is it acceptable to respond to two counter offers at the same time. Then accept first to respond

I have had several people make counter offers at the same time for the same amount. I was going to send back a counter offer to them. Can I send both of them the same counter offer and accept the first to respond back to me. I didn't want to wait as if I was rejected by one I may lose the other.

@redfeather21 Yes you can make counter offers to as many buyers as you wish. The first to pay gets the item.

I would add a note to the offer letting the buyer know that the offer is going out to other members and the 1st to pay gets the item.
