Is eBay scamming us
I recently purchased two comic book lots from the same seller. One had a shipping cost of $28 the other $19 I received both of them in the same package, I reached out to the seller asking if they charged me $50 for shipping, hoping I would get a slight refund, they responded with they only charged 20 for both. I sent the seller screenshots of both lots with the sold price and the shipping price. The seller sent back two screenshots with the sold price and the shipping price but the shipping price on both of his screenshots said $10 and change. where my $30 go? How many other times has this happened?

Mentor1 year agoIt depends on exactly what your screenshot was of. If you were sending a screenshot of the completed listing and they are also sending you a screenshot of their completed listing then what they see is shipping to themselves and you see shipping to you. There numbers can be veery different depending on the distance between you and the seller.
So if eBay charged you $48 for shipping then that is what the seller received. They should know what eBay sent them by looking at their payment history for the item.
