Is ebay incapable of adding a video?
There does not appear to be any way to enter a video in a listing and the eBay help ignores the request

You will need list on the website and use the "New Listing Tool" format to upload a video. (Neither the Mobile App nor the website "Quick Listing Tool" allow videos.)
("Quick Listing Tool" has a "gear" ⚙ in the upper right, and the "New Listing Tool" has ⋯ 3 dots in the upper right and a Video slot. If you have the "Quick Listing Tool" format, then I can provide instructions to upgrade your listing format so you can add a video.)

To Add a Video
If you have the "New Listing Tool" and are on the website
Videos are added in the "Video" Slot, not the photo slot
Videos need to be added from the website, desktop, or browser view
I don't think it works well when you try to add a video from the cloud
-->> Videos should be .mp4 or .mov with a 150MB limit, or less than one minute long
A) Browse to select the video
Click Add Video and then browse to the file location, (a Windows file folder will appear)
Click the Video file and click Open on the Windows window.
OR
B) Drag and Drop the video
-- From my own personal experience, it is best to have your Video folder open and your eBay listing open.
To drag and drop a Video file, click it with your left mouse button, then, without releasing the button, drag it to the desired location and then release the mouse button to drop it.
TIP: Please let me know if you are listing on the website and need the instructions to update to the required "New Listing Tool".
