Is eBay complicit in the sale of counterfeits?
eBay seems to have removed the ability to report clear counterfeits. Why are they protecting / ignoring criminals?

OP2 years agoThere used to be, but I don't have that option anymore. Did eBay only remove it for me? I've reported a handful of items that were clear counterfeits, and can no longer.

I haven’t heard of eBay removing the ‘Report this item’ link on an individual basis.
I do know that eBay rarely removes an item when reported counterfeit by someone who hasn’t purchased the item. The person reporting it could be mistaken OR be a vindictive competitor.
That doesn’t make eBay ‘complicit’ in my view … but you may have a different opinion.

Ebay has never removed the "Report" button on listing pages. It is on the right hand side of the listing page, above the item #.
