is comment area part of the offer
Summary: an_look shared an issue where a buyer claimed that the offer price on an eBay sale included shipping because it was mentioned in the comment area. However, when the offer was accepted, the shipping was added since it wasn't listed as free. an_look explained that comments aren't part of the offer and suggested that the buyer could have clarified before making the offer. lady_madonna responded, confirming that shipping charges are non-negotiable and must be paid as listed, reassuring an_look. The matter of a return was also discussed, focusing on shipping responsibility.
in the offering, buyer saying the offer amount included the shipping mentiond in comment area. when accept the offer, ebay's final price added the shipping to the offering because it was not free shipping item. Then the buyer paid the final price so mailed it. now the buyer is giving me a problem saying I did not read the comment. in my opinion, the comment area is not part of offering . also buyer could cancel the final amount. To me the offering is not done properly, The buyer could contact me prior to offer, then I might make the listing as a free shipping.
I said the buyer to return the item for refund but now shipping is the problem if I send shipping label it becomes my fault. it is buyer's not mine.
I do not care to sell it either. what can be done?

Mentor2 weeks ago@an_look Shipping charges are never part of the Best Offer process and the shipping charges are non-negotiable. Shipping charges are as shown on the listing page.
Whatever the buyer states in the comment section is non-binding. The buyer was required by Ebay to pay the shipping charges as shown.
