Is anyone else getting a large amount of cancellation requests for reasons that shouldn't be allowed
Just had two from today - one said they gave wrong payment information. The second one requested a cancellation because she indicated order was placed by mistake. I have been selling for quite a few years on Ebay and these requests for cancellations are out of hand. These are supposed to be rarely used for good reasons. I think Ebay should clarify that when the buyer asks for a cancellation, they should remind them that bids are a contract. Cancellations do hurt the seller as we have to ok the cancellation, make sure the item gets relisted and pack it back up if we had already pulled it. Plus we lose any other bidders that may have been watching the item. Then there's the cost of relisting the item.

Mentor1 year ago@reds44.I understand that it's frustrating to have to deal with order cancelations.
EBay allows buyers to request to cancel before you mark an order shipped.
The seller can accept or decline the cancelation request.
I think it's best to accept to avoid problems with false not as described claims that would also cost you return shipping.
