Is a 'Feedback revision request' only for changing a Neg/Neutral?
Summary: bowtiebits inquires about revising positive feedback on eBay, since buyers have agreed to edit their comments due to typos, personal information issues, or misleading information. They express concern over how some feedback could affect future buyers' perceptions, particularly a statement about sending replacements when packages are late. jacbarcollectibles responds, clarifying that feedback revision requests are only available for negative or neutral feedback. bowtiebits further wonders about exceptions related to curse words, personal information, or feedback mistakes.
Is a 'Feedback revision request' only for changing a Neg/Neutral? I ask, because I now have some recent Feedback's that should be revised, and buyers have agreed to do so already, via eBay messages. They are all Positive Feedback's, and only the wording needs to be changed/edited.
1) First question, as the buyers don't know, and neither do I. Can a buyer go in and simply re-type their Feedback, and not change the 'rating', with no official 'Feedback revision request' sent by me, the seller?
2) Feedback's in question are positive, so I get no 'link' available to send a revision request.
3) Revisions in question are either typos, personal information not allowed (Real names), and, basically, a - "He'll quickly send out a free replacement if the package is late". - Which is not quite true. The package was thought to be lost, after 23 days, and I did send out a free replacement. (As a side-note. The first shipment arrived after 25 days, and the replacement package was already well on its way by then).
I don't want a potential buyer to read in my reviews: - "He'll quickly send out a free replacement if the package is late".
This product is shipped out un-Tracked, so who would want this message advertised in 'Feedback'? The buyer agrees, has apologized, and wants to change the wording, but how?

Mentor2 weeks agoPositive feedback cannot be changed or removed. A feedback revision request is only for neutral or negative feedback.

OP2 weeks agoThat seems to be the case, as far as I can tell @jacbarcollectibles
I have to wonder about odd instances though, like >
1) Curse words in a Positive feedback (typo).
2) Personal i.d. information left in Positive feedback.
3) Feedback left for the wrong item (buyer leaves feedback to me by mistake, for an item they bought from someone else, and that feedback was placed accidentally, days before my item even arrived.
4) Customer wants to change Positive feedback wording, as they have come to me via messages, asking how to do this, to correct their own mistake.
