iPhone that is unserviceable
I bought an iPhone from eBay and mistakenly thought it was unlocked when seller meant cannot be unlocked from cellular the add was short and vague and I purchased it honestly thinking it was unlocked. Anyways no big deal I’ll just get an account at us cellular and pay off bill and use phone from there however the seller didn’t provide the original name, phone #, account #, zip code or any other info. Later I also found out all new accounts of cellular are handled by TMOBILE. So TMOBILE nor cellular can even find the phone # or name or account# nor zip code without me giving it to them which is impossible because I was never given any info by the seller. I’ve asked for a refund but eBay because the return was closed by me just by human error now eBay won’t step in and the seller keeps on telling me to reopen the return when it can’t be done by eBay. eBay says the return has to be done outside eBay. And that’s what I keep explaining to the seller but they won’t listen. The phone is unserviceable on cellular the account info is unknown rendering it useless, I’ve tried to explain this to the seller time and time again even offering to pay upfront for insurance and shipping and they keep on insisting eBay reopen the case. Any fellow disabled veterans that have been scammed like this should pls reach out to me to give and share advice. I wish eBay could still open the return but it’s getting to be depressing nice gift out a 1187.33 for a unserviceable phone. Let me know what u think thanku

Mentor9 months ago@kelleyo20132013 I am so sorry that happened. Unfortunately once you close an eBay case you can't open a new one or reopen the same case.
You need contact your payment method of bank, credit card, etc. and file a chargeback.
