iPad and iPhone issues lately

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems navigating and using eBay with an iPhone or iPad in the past month or so. My experience when using Safari or another installed browser has been slowly degrading. For example, the display is incredibly slow when searching for results, typing into a search box, etc. When viewing an item, I can no longer zoom in on images, see more than the first image, use common buttons like “message seller” and things of this nature. It has gotten worse over the last month.
My OS is completely updated and the browsers are functioning and displaying normally on any other web site. eBay works flawlessly on my laptop. This problem is happening only on my iPad and a little on my iPhone (not used much so I don’t know) and only on eBay.
I have flushed my browser cache, rebooted, and have not changed and browser settings. As mentioned, my OS is completely up to date.
Any information and help would be appreciated. Thank you!

OP4 months agoYou are correct, the OS version here is updated to 15.8.8
i have also tried the only other browser I have installed on the iPad - DuckDuckGo - and it performs just like Safari with all the limitations. This has all just gradually got worse in the last month. I will do the feedback response you mentioned, and see if that gets me anywhere.
At this point, using this device for eBay is useless, can’t message, bid, view images large, and more.
Thank you for your suggestions.

Try Chrome. At least one user has claimed to have better results with Chrome.
But long term you may have to look into getting a new(er) phone if you want to use eBay or to make any financial transactions on your phone.

What operating system are you using?
Sounds like the version of Safari that lots of folks have with iOS 15.8.8 no longer works with eBay. Possibly other browsers as well.
If that is what you are encountering, I would suggest reporting the issue to eBay directly using one of the "Tell us what you think" browser links from one of the affected My eBay pages, then trying other browsers to see if one works better and posting the detailed results here of which specific browser versions have been tried.
