Invoice to international buyer
Any reason why I can’t send an invoice to international buyer. I offer free shipping within USA ONLY. I would like the buyer in Canada to pay for shipping but eBay says I can’t send international invoice. So I sent an email to the buyer asking them to pay extra for shipping. Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Ty

Mentor1 year ago@asme You are enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program.
YOU are not shipping internationally, eBay is. You are enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program which allows you to reach buyers around the world with ZERO risk to you. I wish that domestic shipments had this same great seller protection.
You just ship to the US forwarding center in Illinois or CA, the address will be on the label when you print it with a code that ties the sale to you and the buyer.
Once the item reaches the US forwarding location safely your job as a seller is done. If a buyer files a refund request for ANY reason the refund comes from eBay and you keep the sale. I wish that eBay had this awesome of seller protections for domestic sales!

First of all, regardless of the Buyer's location Sellers can't ask for more money on a transaction over what is included for the item, shipping if charged, etc.
If you do not have International shipping turned ON then the foreign Buyer cannot purchase it without a US address for their ship to location.
You can turn International shipping On for that listing and set up the shipping section accordingly. Use the Edit function the left side of the item or the drop-down menu that is there.
You might be able to sign up for eBay's International shipping, it is on this page in your Account settings: Shipping Preferences
If successful, double check the item to make sure International shipping is turned ON.
If you sell internationally this way you ship to the eBay International shipping hub and they ship it on to the Buyer.
