Invoice to a repeat buyer
Hello,
I have a buyer who would like an invoice sent to them for a product they haven't made an offer or bided on. How do I create an invoice for a new item not listed or and item I just listed and they confirmed in an email they wanted, but requested an invoice.
It's confusing me just reading this.

·2 years agoSometimes buyers would like an invoice that they can submit to their company for reimbursement, but that is after the sale, and you can print one from the sale page, or label page, and include it in the package.
If the buyer would like an invoice for something you just listed, they can add the item to their cart and print out the details, but only if it is a fixed-price item. Since you are listing auctions, a buyer won't be able to get an invoice ahead of time.
Don't supply an invoice ahead of time. Everything the buyer needs to know is on the listing. I suspect the buyer might be trying to take the sale outside of eBay, and you would lose any seller protections. Or, possibly, the buyer is looking for combined shipping. If so, and if you don't have combined shipping set up on your account, you can always issue a partial refund for any overpaid postage after the sale.
