Invoice Request from Buyer
Hello,
I was recently paid for a laptop I sold to a buyer that is registered in Peru and has indicated that I ship to an address in Florida. They have basically requested that I provide them with a fake invoice. Ebay indicates that I have already been paid for the item but I am worried that this may be some sort of scam, any advice? I have not yet replied to the message or shipped the item. Many thanks!
The message I received was this:
Good day Buy the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 14.4" Touch, 11th Gen i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, Item number:266330429621. Please, I would like you to support me by putting a lower cost for the product on the receipt or invoice (voucher), $300, maximum $500. or as little as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your attention. |

Mentor3 years agoAn invoice cannot be sent after the buyer has paid. The buyer, who lives in Peru, is using a reshipper/freight forwarder in Florida. You do not need to include anything in the package unless you want to print a packing slip, but I do not believe it includes the price you paid.
