Invalid Shipping Address
I have come across my first instance where I cannot ship the item on ebay because it says the buyer's address is invalid. How do I correct this so I can ship it promptly? I did message the buyer to tell them and to see if they can correct it, but it looks like a new buyer so not sure they know how to do it. I did direct them to the Help to walk them through it, but any other solutions would be appreciated. I don't want to miss my shipping window.

Every once in a while I have to make a small change on a Buyer's address, usually on the street address line. They could have no spaces between street number and apartment number, etc.
LOOK at the address and see if anything looks out of place.
Even if the Buyer corrects it the Sold file will NOT update with their change. You can cancel using "problem with address" and have the Buyer correct their address and purchase again.

Mentor2 years ago@thriftymayhem Use the pull down menu on the left of the item, select Cancel ... the flow will have another pull-down menu with choices for the cancellation.

Mentor2 years agoSometimes it is a simple change, like correcting an abbreviation. Check the address here to see the correct format - https://tools.usps.com/zip-code-lookup.htm?byaddress
You can make minor adjustments, but don't change the zip.
