International shipping stinks
A customer in Japan placed an order, they said it wasn't delivered, so eBay issued a credit. The item ended up being delivered and now our non-profit is out the item and the payment.

A quick glance at your active listings show you only ship to the United States. If you shipped an item directly to Japan, you would not have the Seller Protections offered with the eBay International Shipping Program.
If the Buyer opened an Item Not Received refund request, the Seller has three business days to respond with either a valid tracking number showing its about to be delivered or a full refund. If the Seller does not respond on time, eBay will step in and force the refund. Ebay sometimes approves an extension for the Seller to respond.
Once the Buyer is refunded and the package is then received, eBay will not get involved. It's then up to the Seller to invoice the Buyer through PayPal to pay.
In the meantime, if you are a 501(c)3, eBay offers a significant discount on selling fees to nonprofits registered with them.

OP1 year agoWe no longer will ship internationally. Have had nothing but bad luck and eBay wants nothing to do with it.
