International shipping major fail - suggestions?
I purchased a book collection from a USA seller (I am located in Canada) which was shipped in fourteen boxes due to size. I have USPS tracking info from the seller showing that all fourteen were delivered to the ebay international facility in the US. After that, nothing......except that over the next three weeks, five of the fourteen boxes were delivered by DHL Germany of all things.
A phone call to ebay about two weeks ago resulted in the information that ebay had no tracking numbers or other information to locate the other nine boxes.
I have requested a refund in full since a large part of the value of this purchase is that it is a complete collection.
Is this typical? I am about ready to file a protest on the credit card charge for the purchase.

Mentor8 months ago@9569robertd. Be sure not to go over the weight limit for the shipping service that the label was provided for.

OP8 months agoThe DHL return label says "126 kg" which is 3x the weight of what I will be sending back, so I don't imagine that would be a problem.
