International Shipping Help
I've got an international customer that ordered mutliple items and wants them shipped together and wants to know the cost. But ebay is saying I can't create an invoice for international orders. How do I get the customer what's needed so they can pay and I can ship this?

Ask the buyer NOT to pay until all auctions are ended. Make sure you don't have auto unpaid cancelation set up for too short of a time OR add the buyer to your exemption list.

Exemption list> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/ExemptBuyers
Then let your buyer know how you will combine the orders....
Cancel all of the sales as problem with buyers address.
Relist combining ALL of the items into ONE Buy It Now listing. This can only be done if the items are similar and from the same category due to customs regulations.
To save time so you don't have to take new pictures these are the steps to save a copy of the photo from the listing. First go to the listing and click on it to open the main photo. Next use the snipping tool or screen shot to save a copy of the photo. ( right click to save a copy of the image no longer works on eBay's site)
Then you can just add the saved photos to the new listing.

OP10 months agoThanks. I'll try that if I need to. Just got a response from ebay. This is tied to the automatic enrollment in their international shipping and they claimed that when the buyer pays on their end, it should combine similar orders and merge the freight, but the seller can't do that. I'll see if it works.

Mentor10 months agoThe agent is NOT correct. This only works when the stars align perfectly and the buyer pays at checkout with ONE payment. This pretty much never works.
I think that the titles have to be pretty much the same in addition to the same category and paid in one payment for it combine automatically but even then it overcharges the buyer because it doesn't reduce the domestic portion of the shipping according to fellow sellers.
