International shipping cost/ tax refund question.
Hello. I’ve been using eBay for 23 years and never encountered this problem. I purchased a music CD from the United Kingdom. After almost a month the CD arrived, but damaged. (Disk had a crack in it.) I contacted seller with pictures and he stated he would issue a full refund. I received noticed that a refund was made, but only for the amount of the CD was refunded. The shipping charges and tax was not included. I contacted seller and he stated that he clicked full refund. This is what I received from the seller…… Quote: “Hi, I don't know how it works with e-bay but I refunded you as much as i was allowed to ( I pressed the full refund icon) & followed e-bay returns procedure as prompted -†is this the norm for international refund dealings?
