International Shipping
Hi!
I'm listing a pair of shoes and don't normally ship overseas. I have someone that lives internationally send me an offer, but am curious about how this works.
The shoes have to go through the eBay authenticator process, so I'm guessing the international shipping would be free for me and they would handle that, correct?

Mentor1 month ago · Edited@thebonsaiguy It depends on what country the buyer is located in. The shoes will only be authenticated if they are going to Canada or Australia.
I checked the listing and it does not qualify for ALL countries with the eBay International Shipping Program. Just Canada and Australia.
If the buyer is NOT in Canada or Australia then you should decline the offer.
I recommend blocking buyers in locations you do not ship to to prevent buyers from trying to purchase items they can not pay for.
Click this link: https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements Then block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items in 12 months.
Also block buyers in locations you do not ship to.
Authenticity Guarantee
US buyers pay a flat $14.95 eBay shipping fee when purchasing sneakers that qualify for Authenticity Guarantee ($30 if the buyer is located in Canada, $45 if the buyer is in Australia, or £8.95 for UK transactions). We'll then send sellers a pre-paid FedEx shipping label so they can ship the sneakers to the authentication facility, free of charge. If you have a buyer with a multi-quantity order for the same item and are unable to print enough shipping labels through your eBay account, please contact us so we can assist.
To be eligible, sneakers must be sold on eBay.com by a seller located in the US, to a buyer with a US shipping address (including Puerto Rico). Sneakers shipped to Canadian or Australian addresses will also be eligible, if the listing is final sale.
Currently, authenticated sneakers cannot be shipped to any other locations, including unincorporated territories (incl. Guam, Virgin Islands, North Mariana Islands, American Samoa and Palau) and U.S. Armed Forces bases.
The following will not be eligible:
Items shipped to or from US unincorporated territories or army or fleet post office addresses
Listings where the delivery is local pickup or in-store pickup
Items shipped to buyers located in Canada or Australia, if returns are accepted in the listing
