International shipping
Hi I just sold an item and the buyer is international. It’s my first international sale. How does shipping work? The label that’s created goes to Illinois and then how does it end up to the buyer? Should I purchase additional shipping insurance? Do I need to do anything “extra†before shipping my package like video? Thanks!

The Illinois address is eBay's international hub. You ship to Illinois, and eBay forwards to the buyer.
You need to make sure your item arrives safely in Illinois, so no insurance that you wouldn't normally buy.
No need to video yourself packing. EIS transactions are very safe.
