I shipped an item to France using Ebay International Shipping. Tracking shows the item arrived to French postal system but did not deliver to the buyer. Buyer notified Ebay and Ebay sent me a notice saying I did not have to do anything and that Ebay would refund the buyer. Now the buyer is telling me that the French Postal system is asking him to provide a bunch of info regarding tracking, shipping address and requesting I go to my post office (USPS) and ask them to provide information as well. Is this correct???? It seems to me the buyer is not getting a refund from Ebay or does not know if it is in progress?? I use Ebay's International Shipping precisely to avoid this and it has always worked...until now. I would like to speak with a live agent...anyone know the number??
