International shipping
Hello: I am a small eBay seller that has been using the Global shipping program for years. I have had very few problems if any, with Global shipping. Now that they have changed to the new international program, it is an absolute nightmare. Some of my listings will come up shipping internationally and some will not, even if they are in the same category and are basically the same products. I have now had two items refunded to the customer and orders canceled once the order reached the new shipping center in Illinois. They are saying these products are not allowed to be exported. They are not taking the sale amount away from me, but also not retuning the product to me.
This is an absolute nightmare!!! I have spent hours on the phone with people who barely speak English -- THEY HAVE NO CLEW -- one of them didn't even know of the new international program, another told me that my order that was shipping to the center in Illinois was a domestic order because it was shipping to Illinois. I was also told that within eBay, they still call it Global shipping, but on the outside to their customers, they call it international shipping.
I was told by one of them to make a change in Business Policies, for 4 or 5 days, when I go their here is what I get: A cleanup job is currently running or has completed in the last 24 hours. Please try again later. --- IT NEVER CHANGES.
This is the worst screwed up company that I have ever dealt with!!!
