International selling
I have a buyer in France that gets a message that he can’t get it shipped there. I enabled international shipping, but that’s not enough?

You would need to add DIRECT by you international shipping to the trombone. This means that you would be responsible for refunding the buyer if it is late, lost, damaged in shipping, or the buyer SAYS it's somehow not as described.
Your return policy is only for buyers remorse returns such as changed mind, found better price, etc.
If the buyer SAYS it's not as described then YOU have to pay the expensive return shipping and then refund the buyer once you receive the item back again.
