International Fee
I listed an item just like I've done countless times before. This time I was charged $20 for an International Fee. I never asked to sell the item outside the US. How can this be corrected?

Ebay doesn't have a $20 fee for international sales.
Now if you are not using the EIS program, you will be responsible to pay 1.65% additional FVF on an international sale, but that fee has been there for many years. Ebay charges it now because they are the Money Processor, before that PayPal charged the fee.
EIS is a great program. I encourage you to read about it and decide for yourself if it will work for you. It takes almost all the risk for international shipping off the sellers.
Feel free to come back and ask for advice on what to do.

OP11 months agoEbay has taken $20 out of my account just for posting the item. It shows on the account. I listed it for $200. My point is I didn't want international shipping. So how can this be corrected?

OP11 months agoDo I just delete the item and start over again?
What happens to the $20?

Mentor11 months agoNO. That will not make the fee go away. We need to figure out why it happened.
You are in the USA. Why are you calling this an "international fee"? Are you listing directly onto other international sites? What is making this an "international" listing?

You can go to your payment account and on the right it will tell you what that $20 was for. What does it say?
