International fee
I recently made a sale with shipping address to Oregon. On my fees, I have an "International Fee", because the buyer's "registered address" is in China. My question is this, How would I know this in advance? And, since I limited my "Sell to", to US, what else do I need to do to avoid this in the future?

It can not be avoided entirely.
You can add a block for buyers who have a primary ship to in a location you have excluded shipping, but if the buyer has made the freight forwarder their primary ship to location, the block won’t stop them.

It is not enough to only set shipping to the US - to make the block work, you must exclude all of the international locations you will not ship to.

OP1 year agoThank you. I've edited the shipping blocks, but I can see how this will be only somewhat effective. It seems Ebay, aside from the revenue they get from this, would want to get a handle on this practice. Shipping some things, to some countries, is restricted. I guess that's on the freight forwarder being used, in these cases, hopefully.

Yes, I assume the freight forwarder handles restrictions with the buyer - I have never heard of a shipment being rejected by the freight company (thank goodness!).
