International Buyer: Return

Question

Hello. The international buyer purchased an item via eBay International and has initiated a return about 10 days ago. He has until May 2nd to return the item and eBay will be handling the return. I have a couple of questions (I'm a newer seller and didn't have international buyers to-date):

1. If the buyer does not return the item, will I get paid when eBay closes the return? Would I owe any return fees to eBay?

2. If the buyer returns the item and it's in a non-sellable condition (it was in an excellent condition when sold to him), what's my next steps?

@reliancetm If you shipped with the eBay International Shipping Program then eBay handles the return and you keep the $ from the sale. The item is returned to the eBay shipping hub.
