International buyer
A buyer apparently has paid for an item but is in another country. I did not allow international shipping. What happens. This is my first possible transaction.

After your buyer's payment has cleared, eBay will provide you with the delivery address.
If that address is in one of the 50 United States, such as, say, Delaware, you are expected to mail the item to that address.
Mailing an item to the state of Delaware will not violate your position of not shipping internationally.
I mention Delaware because that is one of the five states that does not charge sales taxes on purchases delivered to that state. On the west coast, Oregon charges no sales taxes. Because of this lack of sales taxes, many freight forwarding businesses are based on Delaware and Oregon.
Those freight forwarding businesses are used by people in Europe or Asia or South America as their mailing address for things they purchase from merchants in the United States.
BTW, if your buyer's eBay registration is in another country, eBay will probably charge you an International Fee for this transaction. That fee is 1.65% of the total amount paid by your buyer. This International Fee is in addition to eBay's Final Value Fee (FVF). For books, eBay's FVF is 15.3%, also calculated on the total amount paid by your buyer.

Mentor2 weeks agoWhat is the item number? I do not see any SOLD Listings under this user ID that you posted with. I am guessing your international buyer is using a fright forwarder, which is fine with ebay. Your obligation ends when tracking shows Delivered to the freight forwarder.
