Insurance on items on Buy it now, Why is EBAY allowing Allstate Insurance to interfere with selling
When I try to buy on BUY IT NOW, I can't buy it because Allstate will not allow the transaction without buying their insurance. WHY????? If I can't buy, without buying insurance I most likely will not buy. Ebay and Allstate Insurance are holding both the buyers and sellers hostage. I believe that there is a law that is supposed to protect both the buyer and seller, and free trade in this country. I believe that Ebay and Allstste are in the wrong by allowing this to happen. and someone with authority should have a look at what is happening. That is kind of like the gangs in the cities selling insurance To protect the store owners from the gangs.

We are fellow members and not eBay customer service, however I do know that's not the way it has been working for years.
The buyer is supposed to be able to choose to add the insurance or not. As you said forcing this would be illegal.
Can you please share the item number so I take a look and bring it to eBay's attention..
