Insufficient Address
Hello. I sold a pair of pants. I received a package back from the post office for insufficient address. She said her address is correct. How do I get another label that the buyer pays for? Do they have to cancel the order or is there a way to generate another label the buyer has to pay for? Thanks!

Then relist it so that the buyer can purchase again with the correct shipping address.
I don't recommend canceling because then you'll be out the shipping cost.

Mentor1 month agoYou cannot generate a second shipping label through eBay that automatically charges the buyer. Once a shipping label has been scanned and processed by the postal carrier, it is considered used and void for any future shipments.
Since the package was returned to you due to an "insufficient address," you have two primary options to handle this situation while maintaining your seller protections.
Option 1: The Safest Method (Cancel and Repurchase)
It guarantees you retain your seller protections and automatically forces the buyer to pay for the new shipping label.
Option 2: The Free Workaround (Post Office Error Check)
If the buyer insists their address is 100% correct, do not open the package. There is a chance the postal carrier or sorting machine made an error
Take the unopened package to your local post office counter. Explain to the clerk that the address is fully correct and ask them to verify it. If it was a carrier error or sorting glitch, the post office will often cross out the "Return to Sender" markings and re-ship the package for free using the original tracking barcode
