OP2 years agoTo add context - I have not contacted the buyer yet to see what might be wrong with the address, which I am going to do, but I don't want to have to pay for shipping again and don't want to refund and have to resell the item... Not sure what other options there might be for me? thank you!

It's best to refund for the item price only (not including shipping if that was shown on the listing as a separate cost), then relist and provide the new item # to the buyer so he can repurchase. Remind the buyer to check/edit his address at checkout before completing payment.
Alternatively, if you both have PayPal accounts, you can send the buyer an invoice through PayPal for the reshipment cost. You'll need his PayPal email address.
