Instant Pay Feature?
I am getting back into selling on Ebay. A lot has changed so I'm kinda new & relearning. I had an item listed and had a member that wanted to bid on the item. He messaged me & said when he went to bid it asked for his credit card #. He says I have an Instant Pay Feature turned on in my listing. I have looked for it & what I may have turned on. Has anyone heard of this? If so, could you please share your knowledge with me. Please & Thank you!

Mentor11 months ago@ladysheart. You can turn off the requirement for buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding in account settings by unchecking the box.
Autopay is when you as a seller require buyers to provide a payment method before making a bid or offer.
The setting is in buyer requirements in account settings> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
If you require buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding AND allow combined shipping in your account settings then the buyer may choose to keep bidding for 7 days before paying. This is a change that many auction sellers asked for. You can read about the 7 days to pay for combined shipping on auctions here>
