I'm receiving insertion fees of 35 cents daily on items that have been in my store for months. Why is that?

·2 years agoBecause that is the Basic Insertion Fee for most categories/sellers which is charged when an item is autorenewed (for fixed-price listings, it is a bit more complicated for relisting an auction) as well as when it is first listed. A seller gets a monthly allowance of waivers of that Basic Insertion Fee applied to the first x new listings/autorenewals/ relistings that are eligible for such waiver and then any after that you have to pay the 35 cents.

Each active item listed in prior months uses an insertion once per month. You have over 1,000 items so you are spending a lot on insertion fees. If you are going to maintain over about 330 items, you should consider a basic store subscription - it will save you money - a lot of money on 1,000 listings.
