insertion fee
If the policy is no insertion fees for first 250 insertions, then why would I have been charged an insertion fee for my first ever insertion?

Mentor7 months agoI suspect what you are seeing is the Final Value Fee for the sale of your book.
If you don't use any of the extra optional features, there will be no insertion fee. However, if you decide to list in 2 categories, use a subtitle, BOLD title, reserve price, auction style listing with 1 or 3 day duration, etc., there will be an additional charge. You are shown what those charges are just above the Submit button, giving you a chance to go back and remove those features.

Ebay charges 2 kinds of fees...insertion fee and final value fee when you sell an item.
You can view a detailed breakdown of all chargres in your Seller Hub or My eBay.
Here's how: Go to the Payments tab in your Seller Hub or Payments in your My eBay,Select All transactions.
