Information on past sales
I recently acquired a antique tobacco pipe. Its inscription reads G. Bongi and under that Firenze. In search of any history on the name I came across on old sales on Ebay. Is there a way to find old sales on here and locate the sellers account?

You can search up to 3years worth of listings using Terapeak:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/terapeak?id=4853&st=
For an item that is rarer you may have to do more leg work and google lens image search if it's a unique design. OR joining a FB group for pipe collectors can help you figure out how rare it is to know how to describe it better.
If I have an item that I just am not sure of the current top market value then I use the Auction format and start the listing at a price I'd be happy with even if I receive just one bid. If you get more bids then that's great!
