Ineligible to bid in Live auctions
“Your account has a history of unpaid items so you can't participate in eBay Live auctions at this moment.”
This message pops up when joining a live, even though there has been zero instances of unpaid transactions, ever!
A payment method is directly linked to the account for direct debits as soon as a bid is won.
Nothing in purchase history shows unpaid item, and none in the shopping basket either.
eBay technical issues seems to be causing this for buyers and ruining the Live experience.
Anyone else with such issues, and how can eBay help?
I have used the eBay “contact us” form, but have no way of checking its progress - I haven’t even received an email acknowledgement on the same.
