Incorrectly being accused of being an "Abusive buyer"
I recently purchased some refurbished phones and a oculas go for my children for Xmas. I knew the phones were refurbished and that the oculas was new but in an opened box and I didnt have an issue with that. Once I recieved the items and charged them, one of the phones would over heat and shut down and another would say 100% battery but within 10 or 15 minutes the phone would die. The oculas was working the ONLY issue was that unless you already have an account with meta on a previous occulas, the older versions will NOT work. So for someone that doesnt have an account and doesnt know anything about these items will potentially be screwed when purchasing this product. In the listing for the oculas although it stated it was unused but in a open box there was nothing stating that this product can't be used without an existing account. So I didn't know it was unusable, i just thought i was doing this amazing thing for my son and that he was gna be so happy on xmas morning. Which he was ! Up until trying to activate the oculas. So once we couldnt get it to activate we spent hours trying to search and search as to why i couldnt activate it. Once i found out i sent the seller a message stating that the item was useless and not usable without a meta account and that they needed to add this in there listing. So I did a a return on the oculas and the phones. When the seller recieved the phones back they stated that I didn't return the items back in the condition they were sent in.. that it had a "dent". All of these items were opened charged and then put straight back in the packages once we realized they were useless. I took photographs of the items before sending them back to the sellers. Then I wake up to the phone seller saying he was only returning 55 cents bc of the dent. And the oculas seller didnt state anything, only selected the ebay selected choices saying the item wasn't returned in sent condition. And that they were only refunding half of the cost of the item. Both items I know for 100000% were in the EXACT same condition they were recieved in WHEN handed over to the post office and fed ex. So I had to dispute the refunds and ebay ruled in my favor and gave me the money back. But now they have reported me and I'm now labeled as an abusive buyer. Which honestly bothers me more then when they were trying to lie and cheat me out of my money. Because of there dishonesty im now I'm labeled as something I'm not. Because they got upset bc ebay gave me my money back they reported me and now my account is flagged as an abusive buyer. Keep in mind these phones and the oculas is the only thing I purchased and the first purchase in idk probably 5 or 6years. So I'm deleting my account but I just want others to beware. It's unfare to buyers. I have photographic evidence that I didn't do anything to the products. YET I'm labeled as an abusive buyer but those accounts have no repercussions at all. It's completely dishonesty and greed on the sellers behalf!!!
