Incorrect watch shipped. Most likely a scam.
I ordered a used men's Raymond Weil watch for $297.00 in December. A smaller watch (ladies?) in very rough condition was delivered. I contacted the seller who apologized for sending the wrong item and said the correct watch was going to be sent. This was in December and i still do not have the correct watch. The delivery date of the correct watch was constantly delayed and after the initial reply to my message to the seller, the seller has not replied to any messages. Ebay has simply closed this due to "inactivity." I have paid $297 for a watch that I never received. I cannot find a way of having Ebay go after this seller. Any recommendations? The seller is ta_436294

If the item was "not as described" you would have needed to start a "not as described" return within thirty days of receiving it, rather than relying on the seller's assurance that the seller was sending a replacement.
If the seller did not refund you or provide a return shipping label you should have been able to ask eBay to step in after three business days. The process is automated; if the seller did not cooperate at any point, you could have asked eBay to step in after three business days but before twenty-one business days had passed.

Past thirty days, you may still have some recourse through your payment method; contact your card issuer for details.
