Incorrect url on my new store...
I purchased my first ebay store (Basic) yesterday. I did it on my phone. Once I paid for it, I was sent my new url, which was in correct. I believe while entering the information on my phone, the "T" in closet was not accepted or something. After every entry, the page would scroll backward. I noticed the mistake immediately, so I reached out to ebay to get it corrected. I was informed that it could not be corrected even though it was incorrect. This was within 15 minutes of opening my new store.
Is this correct? Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Do I really have to live with the url of the name of my store staying jacked up?
Also, I'm told that if I close my store, I will be charged a cancellation fee, and if I open a new store, this incorrect url will always be used. With all of today's technology, I can't believe this can't be corrected.
