Incorrect return address for refund
This is very frustrating! cannot find an EBay article that addresses my issue. The client wants to return an item but listed the Incorrect return address for refund. I can not correct the address I texted the buyer to correct from their end and have not heard back. Does any one have any suggestions as to how I can get eBay customer support?

The next time you purchase a shipping label, on the label creation page, check to make sure that the zip code displayed for your Ship from/return address is correct. If it's not, click the Edit link and select the correct address as your default. After that, it should "stick."
Because you approved the return before you corrected your return address, if you are paying the return shipping, you will need to pay a label with the correct address from another online label purchasing site (Pirate Ship is a popular one, or you could use Click & Ship) and email a pdf copy of it to your buyer.
If the buyer is paying for return shipping, the buyer will need to purchase the label at the post office - just make sure she knows she should use the new address you provide her and that she saves the tracking # to enter into the return case. If she accidentally ships to the wrong address, you'll still need to reimburse her once it's delivered.

OP2 years agoHello! My address is correct on my profile would it be in more than one place?
I did approve the refund but have not confirmed because I saw the incorrect return address. I asked the buyer to cancel refund request and resend.

Mentor2 years agoAt the link I gave you, did you check and correct ALL the addresses there as I advised? (Particularly the Return address?)
The buyer cannot reopen a return once it's closed. That's why I gave you specific instructions to follow.

Don't ask the buyer to close the return, they won't be ale to open a new one.
