Incorrect Item Shipped
I had a mixup at the post office and two buyers received incorrect items as a result. One item is significantly more expensive than the other. I contacted the buyer 3 times that received the more expensive item asking him to help make it right. Is there anything I can do to rectify this, or am I simply out of luck and required to take a large loss as a result?
Thanks!

Mentor1 year agoSorry, but it isn't up to the buyer to make it right. The error was yours.
The buyer who received the cheaper item needs to be made whole. Refund them, explaining the error. You could still receive a negative feedback. Even after 12 years of selling, I package each item and ship separately. That way this never happens. Take the loss and learn a lesson from this.

OP1 year agoThanks. I completely understand it was my error. It's just wild to me that sellers pay all the fees to eBay... buyers pay nothing... Buyers receive all the protection but sellers receive zero protection. It's kind of a backwards business model. I appreciate the response. Disappointed in myself as well as this platform, but I understand now.
