Incorrect decision by Ebay regarding a fake item.
I was sold a counterfeit item, reported it to Ebay. I arranged a return with the seller. Ebay messages me back saying
"We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence."
They don't give the option to appeal or question the result. I don't even know what they did to determine their conclusion. The physical item itself has to be inspected, I sent them images to show how it's fake but I don't think AI or any automatic system is aware of the nuances of counterfeits.
