Incorrect bank account number
Somehow, my chime account number on the app and the account number for chime on ebay do not match and the number is invalid so I can't get paid. How can O fix this.

Mentor8 months ago@sean.smith You can not use a chime account. You need to use a brick and mortar checking account.
Verify that name and address on your eBay account matches your checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#
Here's how to change bank checking accounts and if you have any problems you can contact eBay customer service for help from #3
#1 First make sure your name and address on your eBay account match your new bank account exactly:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile It must be a brick and mortar checking account, not virtual.
#2 Next try this: Go to your payments page and select Add Payment option.
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Then select add bank account and add the new account. Then if the old account is not automatically deleted you will need to delete it.

#3 If you still can not change banks then here's how to contact an eBay customer service managed Payments Agent:

Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

OP8 months agoAre you sure? This account has been attached to my ebay account for two years and Chime is listed as an available bank. I havent had a brick and mortsr account since 2009. Basically adding Chime is not the issue it's the fact that I have no idea what account number this is that if wants me to verify, it's not the same 4 numbers as my account and of course chime rejects verification measures as not matching as well. Thanks for the reply

Mentor8 months ago@sean.smith Unless eBay changed something they used to say that Chime is not allowed because it's not a real bank account. eBay has to send the $ to an account that can be verified.
You will need to contact customer service. You have to add the "new" account and then remove the old one.
If you still can not change banks then here's how to contact an eBay customer service managed Payments Agent:
