Incomplete shipping address

A buyer contacted me saying he hasn't received his order even though USPS said it was delivered. He said he failed to provide the apartment number. What do I do now?

Buyer needs to check with the carrier and find out exactly where is was delivered and see if it can be retrieved. If not, buyer can hope it gets returned to you at which time you can invoice buyer for the cost of reshipping. Otherwise, the buyer is out of luck.

Often packages will be returned to seller if the apartment number is missing. However, if there are few apartment units, and the carrier is familiar with the residents, it might be delivered. Take the tracking nuber down to your local post office and have them check their GPS to see exactly where the package was delivered.
